China- Europe Railway Express (Wuhan)

The China - Europe Railway Express (Wuhan), released on October 24, 2012, is a rail freight transport line between Wuhan and Europe. Starting from Wuhan, the express train crosses Xi'an, Lanzhou, Urumqi and leaves China by Alataw Pass to finally arrive in Europe.

This is another international trade route between Wuhan and the European continent after airlines and shipping lines. It expands Hubei's import and export volume and makes contributes to the opening and economic development of the province and even central China. It, as the Economic Belt along the Yangtze River, is an important part of the "Belt and Road" initiative.

At present, the China (Wuhan) - Europe express train reaches some twenty European and Asian countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia and Belarus.
