YOFC sets up South African branch

Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC), located in the Optics Valley of Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province, announced on December 2 that its branch in South Africa was set up, meanwhile, a bonded house was also built to store the fibre products delivering to other countries in Africa.

It was introduced that YOFC’s headquater in Africa lies in Johannesburg. It was expected to put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2016, with a optical fibre production capacity of one million kilometers per year.

As the second largest economic entity in Africa, South Africa owns relatively comprehensive financial and legal systems. This year, South Africa’s government made a very big push towards the national strategic plan of broadband.

South Africa based and Africa oriented, YOFC will strive to be the most influential optical fiber supplier across Africa.
