CCSHCC undertakes overseas construction projects

Brief introduction to CCSHCC:

Established in 1964 originally as the second highway investigation and design institute of Ministry Of Communication of China, CCCC Second Highway Consultant Co. Ltd (CCSHCC), with registered capital of RMB 872 million YUAN, is one of the top highway investigation and design companies in China. The Company has state certified Grade A design qualifications for engineering investigation, design (highway, municipal, construction, railway), consultation, supervision, mapping & surveying, bidding agent, water and soil conservation, geological disaster prevention and control(investigation, design, supervision, construction), landscape architecture. The company was qualified as National High and New Technology Enterprise in 2008, and listed among Top 60 Engineering Design Enterprises in consecutive years in China.

The representative major projects are as follows, Sichuan-Tibet Highway, Tianshan Mountain Highway, Beijing-Tianjing-Tanggu Expressway, Guangzhou- Shenzhen-Zhuhai Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Expansion Project, Hubei Shanghai-Chongqi Western Expressway, Guangdong section of Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Tibet Motuo Highway, E-Huang Yangtze River Bridge, Xiamen Xiang’an Submarine Tune, Nanjing Weisanlu Yangtze River Tunnel, Hunan Xufengshan Tunnel, Gansu Maijishan Tunnel, and other projects in Europe, South America and Arica etc. The company has been rewarded more than 20 state awards consisting of National Project Investigation and Design Award, Luban Prize, Zhantianyou Prize and others, and more than 160 provincial awards of investigation, design and consultation.

Project 1: Mozambique Maputo Bridge

Maputo - Katengbei Bridge, by connecting Maputo downtown and Katengbei District, will greatly promote development of Katengbei District. The project, 6km long in total, is a two-way four-lane highway in bituminous concrete pavement and national grade I arterial road standard, including one mega bridge 3.12km long, which starts from k2+900 and ends at k6+020. The north approach is a prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge 50m long with 17 spans, the main bridge is a double tower stayed-cable bridge with main span of 425m and span length of 70+115+425+130+80m respectively, and the south approach is a prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge 50m long with 29 spans.

Project 2: Mozambique Mutarara - Mutuali Railway

Upon completion of this project, it will become a new railway in Mozambique even in Africa which is built within one time and with highest driving speed, highest technical standard and technical equipment level, as well as highest driving safety; it will reduce the gap between Mozambique railway and the advanced railway in the world by around 20 years.

Project 3: Mozambique Maputo Bypass Project

The general objective of traffic development planning of the Government of Mozambique is to renovate the country’s traffic infrastructure in an all-round manner and establish a modern traffic network effective and fast.
