Jieliang Lake (借粮湖) is also called Jieliang Lake (接粮湖). It stretches across Jingmen and Qianjiang, and is only 1.5 km away from Changhu Lake in the west.
Jieliang Lake get its name from the history that there were often ships sailed here to pay the soldiers.
The lake is formed by ponding in low-lying lands. The water level is 30.5 meters, with a length of 6.8 km and a maximum width of 5.5 km. At present, the area is reduced to 10.4 square km, with water storage of 16 million cubic meters.
