Located in the east part of Ezhou city in central China’s Hubei province, Huama Lake is the second largest lake in Ezhou, covering an area of around 20.07 square km. The average depth of the lake is 2.5 meters, and the water storage is around 49.5 million cubic meters.
Huama Lake links four towns, namely Yanji, Shawo, Yangye and Huahu, and it is connected to Huangshi Port area in the west.
Huama Lake is a lake cluster formed by Huajia Lake, Zouma Lake and Huangshan Lake, which are called up lake, middle lake and down lake respectively by locals.(hubei.gov.cn by Mao Huifang)
