Hubei records over 53 million visits with free-entry policy moving

As of November 15, the 100th day after the free-entry policy taking effect on August 8, the engaged A-level scenic spots in Hubei has totally received 53,380,200 million tourists and earned an income of 5.119 billion yuan.

During the period, Hubei tourism market saw a significant recovery: 299 tourist attractions have reached or exceeded the reception level of the same period last year, accounting for 76.67 percent; 1,048 travel agencies have resumed work, with a resumption rate of 88.29 percent. They have totally received 10.9096 million tourists, 5,898,700 people more than the same period last year, an increase of 117.72 percent; 354 star-related hotels across the province have resumed business, a rate of 94.4 percent. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
