China Eastern Airlines is planing to launch an air service linking Wuhan, Hubei and Tokyo, Japan from January 4, 2020, accepting both Chinese and Japanese attendants, according to a promotion conference held by the airlines on November 28.

The round-trip flights are set on every Tuesday, April, and Saturday after opening. The outbound flight, No.MU2615, will depart at 08:55 and arrive in Tokyo at 13:30 (local time), while the return plane will set off at 14:30 from Tokyo and land in Wuhan at 17:55. The whole journey will take only three hours.

The planes operated by China Eastern Airlines could fly to 17 destinations in Japan. With the new air service, Wuhan people are able to make access to more Japanese cities.

In addition, this air service will further enhance exchanges between Hubei and Japan in commerce, tourism, logistics and culture, as well as provide a solid transportation guarantee for Hubei to further expand opening up, a relevant person in charge of China Eastern Airlines said.
