Honghu Lake Wetland, habitat for 30,000 summer resident birds

Photo taken on Augut 20, shows the egrets inhabiting Honghu Lake Wetland, in Hubei Province. This year, the summer resident birds, mainly chlidonias, hydrophasianus chirurgus and egrets, flying from Southeast Asia to Honghu outnumbered 30,000.
 
By the end of 2018, Honghu has recovered natural wetlands of 238,000 mu, with an expansion rate of nealy 50 percent. The improving ecological environment attracts more and more flocks of birds. (photos by Zeng Xiaodong and Gao Qiang/pic.cnhubei.com)
