10 projects worth 7.175 bln yuan signed between Hubei and Kansai

On August 2, a signing ceremony was held as a sub-event of the dialogue between Kansai and Hubei in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province.

10 projects worth 7.175 billion yuan, covering the fields of auto parts, medical equipment, transportation, optoelectronic materials, infrastructure construction, financial industry and manufacturing industry, were knocked off during the event.

Half of the signed projects were related to fields of automotive components and electronics. It witnessed the Xiangyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone attracted 55-million-yuan investment in the auto trim project, and the Xiaogan High-tech Development Zone absorbed investments from Japanese enterprises in the production of automotive plastic parts as well as rubber and resin products, totaling 160 million yuan and 60 million yuan, respectively.

Nagae Shusaku, the Executive President of Panasonic Corporation and Japan-China Economic and Trade Center, expressed that Japanese companies would welcome more talents from Hubei to achieve mutual development.(hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
