Giant panda sisters Chun Qiao and Pang Niu will be unveiled to the public on July 26, at the 5,400 -square-meter panda hall of the Wuhan Zoo.

Meal time is the best visit time. The two giant pandas eat 6 meals a day, at 8:30, 10:00, 11:30 in the morning, and 14:30, 16:30, 17:00 in the afternoon. They feed on Sichuan’s bamboo shoots, Xianning’s bamboos, carrots, apples and wowotou (a kind of steamedcorn bread), according to Chen Jun, the leader of giant panda breeding team.

"Chun Qiao is a bit more sort of bold in her way of doing things, and Pang Niu is a bit more timid and shy in the way she approaches, she requires a bit more time to familiarize herself with the environment," the panda breeder Cao Jun said.

The overall style of the giant panda hall features Wuhan’s local characteristics on the basis of both science and practicality, where will display the specimen of the longest-lived giant panda "Dudu", once living in the Wuhan Zoo for 27 years.
