2019 World Stamp Exhibition to be unveiled tomorrow

The 2019 FIP General World Stamp Exhibition is slated to be held at the International Expo Center in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province, from June 11 to 17, according to the press conference on June 9.

A total of 84 countries and regions have signed up for the exhibition, which is expected to feature 4,683 framed sets of stamps, 2,468 of which are from overseas exhibitors and others are from domestic exhibitors, hitting the record high in terms of the exhibition scale.

The exhibition will showcase more than 1,350 sets of stamps that the People's Republic of China has issued since its founding 70 years ago, as well as rare collections brought by philatelists and museums from home and abroad.

During the event, activities related to the Belt and Road Initiative, Jing-Chu culture, stamp collection and the 7th CISM Military World Games will be organized. And Wuhan is supposed to hold the International Lotus Festival and Jing-Chu Gourmet Festival during this period.

The online reservation is required for access to the exhibition on June 11. And from June 12, visitors can enter the International Expo Center from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with ID cards.
