Uygur costumes in the Qing Dynasty being displayed in Wuhan Museum

On May 11, an exhibition displaying the a total of 70 pieces (sets) of Uygur costumes from Hami in the Qing Dynasty was opened in Wuhan Museum.
 
These costumes, including robes, vests, jackets, footwear and complements, are of great academic and aesthetic value. The Uighurs in Qing Dynasty created a traditional costume culture with distinctive national and regional characteristics based on their own customs which provided precious historical materials for the study of national politics and national crafts in the Qing Dynasty .
 
The exhibition will last until June 26, with no charge. (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
