Freight trains bound for Europe from Wuhan hit record high in January

In January this year, the freight trains in Wuhan made 28 trips for Europe, hitting the record high since the operation of China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan).

On January 31, 50 trains loaded with electronic components, mechanical and electrical products, clothing and daily necessities shipped from Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions, departed for Duisburg, Germany, from Wujiashan Station in Wuhan, marking the 28th trip of the China-Europe Railway Express (Wuhan) this year.

Since the Spring Festival travel rush, the trains have transported clothes, shoes, lamps and other New Year goods besides the electronic components, mechanical and electrical products to Europe to meet the needs of the overseas Chinese and students there. (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
