Hubei embraces 9 archaeological sites

The 8th Joint Meeting of the National Archaeological Parks Alliance was held in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province on December 3, 2018, announcing that nine major archaeological sites in Hubei have been included in the National Protection Project Library of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage (SACH).

The nine major archaeological sites in Hubei are Jinancheng, Longwan, Panlongcheng, Qujialing, Shijiahe, Tonglüshan, Tangya Tusi and Rongmei Tusi and Ancient Tombs at Leigudun.

Co-hosted by the Wuhan Municipal Government, the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture and the Panlongcheng Archaeological Museum,the meeting attracted 103 organizations to exchange experience on archaeological research and construction, so as to jointly explore a new path of developing national archaeological sites in the new era.(hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
