The Huangshi New Port Bonded Logistics Center launched cross-border e-commerce business, along with the opening of its first offline experience store, on November 11, 2018.

In recent years, Huangshi New Port has become an important platform for opening up to the world. The Huangshi cross-border e-commerce project was officially put into construction on August 28, 2018, with an investment of 10 million yuan. Stock warehouses, inspection warehouses and two imported commodity sorting lines were established in the bonded logistics center.

The first offline experience store embraces more than 800 kinds of products from Japan, South Korea, Australia, Germany, France, etc. In the future, cross-border e-commerce duty-free stores are supposed to develop throughout Hubei Province, making consumers directly purchase overseas goods.

More than three well-known overseas branding companies will be introduced into the Huangshi cross-border e-commerce project next year, which will accelerate the development of forming an industrial cluster of imported goods.(hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
