Three featured stations along Wuhan Metro Line 11 to debut

The first phase of the east section of Wuhan Metro Line 11 will kick off test run within this year.

The Wuhan Metro Line 11, 19.7 kilometers long, runs from Optics Valley Railway Station to Zuoling Station. It will become the underground arterial traffic at the Optics Valley area along with the south extension of Wuhan Metro Line 2. The Optics Valley Railway Station, Optics Valley 5th Road Station and Optics Valley 7th Road Station enjoy great characteristics along the line.

The origin station Optics Valley Railway Station, located at the east square of Liufang Railway Station, is transferable to the Optics Valley Railway Station on the south extension of Wuhan Metro Line 2. And a ring network transportation hub will be completed with Optics Valley Railway Station and Liufang Railway Station, which is along the intercity railway connecting Wuhan with Huangshi, Huanggang and Xianning.

Optics Valley 5th Road Station, as a cross transfer station between Wuhan Metro Line 11 and Line 19, is 241 meters long and 56 meters wide in the east-west direction. It boasts the largest span, highest main building and widest station hall among all the metro stations in Wuhan.

Optics Valley 7th Road Station, near by a series of large-scale enterprises such as Humanwell Healthcare (Group) Co.,Ltd. and Huawei Wuhan Research Institute, embraces a 24-hour street crossing at the Exit C, D, E and F each.
