Wuhan to enhance trade & investment cooperation with int'l friendship cities

A trade and investment cooperation forum will be held in Wuhan on November 14 and 15 to further our friendship and cooperation with international friendship cities.

Hosted by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government, the 2017 Wuhan International Friendship City Cooperation Forum for Trade and Investment will also feature the 3rd Investment Promotion Conference for Fortune Global 500 and World-renowned Foreign Companies.

Mayors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from Wuhan's international sister and friendly exchange cities will be invited to the forum for discussions on mutual cooperation and win-win results. The attending cities include Arnhem (the Netherlands), Chalkida (Greece), Izhevsk (Russia), Salo (Finland), Swansea (the U.K.), Kemi (Finland), Zhytomyr (Ukraine), Oita (Japan), Manchester (the U.K.), Bangkok (Thailand), Le Mans (France), Iguazu (Brazil), Duisburg (Germany), Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Gyor (Hungary), San Nicolas (Argentina), and St. Petersburg (Russia).

Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper of Canada will also attend the trade and investment cooperation forum.

In addition, officials from the One Belt One Road Association of the Philippines, the Kazakhstan Investment Cooperation Agency, the China-Ukraine "Belt and Road" Committee for the Promotion of International Industry and Commerce, and the Greater Brisbane-China Business Council will come and explore cooperation opportunities.
