Wuhan Marathon selected as member of China Marathon Majors

2017-2018 China Marathon Majors race calender was unveiled in Beijing, capital of China on August 23, 2017. Four member events, the Beijing Marathon, Guangzhou Marathon, Chongqing Marathon and Wuhan Marathon, will start from September 2017 in Beijing to end in 2018 in Wuhan.

Wuhan Marathon was first held in April 2016, becoming spree for the city and even the whole world. In 2017, more than 120,000 runners registered for this event which has gained increasing acceptance from runners in China.

China Marathon Majors, the supreme level race of marathon in China, established and organized by Chinese Athletics Association, is aimed at resource integration of high-quality marathon, standard setting of China top-quality marathon’s organization and promotion of internationalized, standardized and market-oriented operation and development of marathon in China.
