Wuhan International Yangtze River Crossing Festival 2017 to kick off on July 16

The 43rd Wuhan International Yangtze River Crossing Festival is going to kick off on July 16, 2017, in Wuhan, the capital city of central China’s Hubei Province. It is expected to attract more than 5,000 swimming enthusiasts from all over China and more than 10 foreign athletes to participate.

The crossing festival faces individuals and teams. The individuals challenge is divided into a men's group and a women's group with prize money set USD 20,000, USD 8,000 and USD 5,000 for the top three of each group.

There will be 51 swimming teams taking part in this challenge. Around 2,100 swimmers from 21 provinces and cities as well as 2,800 people from Wuhan were selected to form the teams.
