Free dental checkup held to serve the foreigners in Wuhan

The second free dental checkup for foreigners living in Wuhan, which was jointly organized by the Wuhan Foreign Affairs Office and Wuhan First Stomatological Hospital, took place on June 9, 2017. More than 30 foreigners hailing from countries like the United States and Austrailia registered for this event.

“It’s a good activity for us foreigners in Wuhan, and this hospital is easy for me to do dental care,” said Andy, a 23-year-old from the United States, who has worked in Wuhan as an assistant English teacher for seven months.

Wuhan First Stomatological Hospital opened in late 2015 and is equipped with world’s advanced medical equipments and skilled medical professionals. The medical staff in this hospital is able to offer English services. In 2016, the hospital received more than 1oo foreign patients.

Wuhan has attracted more and more foreigners to settle down, have tours and study in recent years. Statistics show that, in the first half of 2016, Wuhan welcomed more than 92,000 visitors from abroad and has over 14,000 foreign residents, up 37 percent and 15 percent, respectively.
