Hubei delegation to seek further cooperation with New Zealand and Australia

A delegation, led by Wang Xiaodong, governor of Hubei Province, left Wuhan today for an official visit to New Zealand and Australia at the invitation of the governments of Auckland and Queensland.

The visit aims to implement China’s the “Belt and Road” Initiative and promote exchanges and cooperation between Hubei and these two countries.

During this visit, the delegation will attend the second China-Australia provincial and state governors forum in Sydney, have in-depth exchanges with people from different backgrounds, participate in activities promoting and signing cooperation projects, drive forward cooperation in areas such as economics, trade, investment, agriculture, education, science and technology and deepen exchanges between friendly provinces/states and sister cities.
