French PM arrives in Wuhan for friendly visit

French Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve arrived in Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei Province to start a friendly visit on the evening of February 22, 2017.

At the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang, Cazeneuve began the official visit to China from February 21. Hubei is the only province he visits besides Beijing and also the last leg of his trip in China.

On February 23, he first visited P4 (biosafety level 4) laboratory, China's first quaternary bio-safety lab, which was built with the support of France and delivered a speech.

In the afternoon, he visited CR Intermodal Wuhan Central Station for China - Europe freight trains connecting Lyon and Wuhan, Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City as well as Dongfeng-renault Automobile Company.

Cazeneuve said that France will further cooperation and investment in China and Hubei and encouraged Hubei enterprises to invest in France.
