Hubei delegation visits South Africa, Egypt and Iran

From December 11 to 20, the Hubei delegation, led by deputy governor Xu Kezhen, paid a special visit to South Africa, Egypt and Iran, aiming to deepen friendly exchanges and trade cooperation between Hubei and the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.

During the visit, Xu met with the province secretary of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa) Cde Sihle Zikalala, head of the Ministry of International Cooperation of Egypt Sahar Nasr and vice governor of Markazi (Iran) Zafar Afshoun. In Markazi, he visited the free trade area and exchanged views on deepening cooperation of industries, infrastructure construction and trade.

In addition, the delegation visited the Chinese embassies in Egypt and Iran, attended the signing ceremony of the project of circular economy industrial park between GEM Co., Ltd. (Jingmen) and Natal, and the launching ceremony of the subsidiary of YOFC in South Africa, and visited the project locations of China Zhongtie Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., LTD, Gezhouba Group and Angel Yeast in these countries.
