50 standardized police offices to be built for foreigners in Wuhan

Wuhan police announced on November 8 that 50 standardized police offices will be completed within this year to provide services on accommodation, legal advice, conflict resolution and any help in need for foreigners in Wuhan.

The police office will have service area, cultural exchange area and be equipped with a self-service platform, on which the foreigners are able to make inquiries about renting, transportation, hospitals and other useful information.

In recent years, the foreigners who visit and settle in Wuhan both saw a progressive rise. In the first half of 2016, the foreigners coming to Wuhan reached 92,120 people, witnessing a growth rate of 37 percent while the resident foreigners surged by 15 percent with 14,392 people, according to the statistics released by Wuhan City Public Security Bureau exit-entry Administration.  (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
