According to the Consulate General of France in Wuhan, starting from this September, students from école MLF/PSA de Wuhan, the school of the PSA Peugeot Citroen Company, will join the students at the Wuhan French International School (EFIW), and start their new semester there. By then, the EFIW will become the major French school open to foreign students of all nationalities in Central China.

Mr. Philippe Martinet, Consul General of France in Wuhan, participated in a Children's Day celebration activity held at the Wuhan French International School (EFIW) on June 1. Around 70 students and teachers put on singing performances during the event.

“In the future, there'll be more exchange activities between us and local schools, which will allow our students to learn more about Chinese culture, and local students to learn more about French culture,” said Karine Anin, principal of EFIW.

The EFIW is the first international school to have registered at the Department of Education of Hubei. Located in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, the school offers French education to foreign students from ages 2 to 17. Not only will they study French courses, they will also have courses in Chinese and English, allowing them to have a multicultural overseas education experience.
