Wuhan ranks No.10 in China according to city competitiveness

Wuhan ranks No.10 in China according to the China Urban Competitiveness Ranking in 2015 released by China Institute of City Competitiveness (CICC) on Dec.9 in Hong Kong. Shanghai topped the list, while Hong Kong took second place and Shenzhen took the third spot.

Cities ranked from No.4 to No.10 were: Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Suzhou, Chongqing, Hangzhou and Wuhan.

The report is based on annual research conducted by CICC, a Hong Kong-based think tank, on 358 major cities across the country.

The “competitiveness” assessment indicator system consists of 10 first grade indexes such as comprehensive economic competitiveness, industrial competitiveness, fiscal and financial competitiveness, human capital education competitiveness, etc., 50 second grade indexes and 216 third grade indexes.
