New U.S. consul general in Wuhan assumes office

Mr. Joseph Zadrozny

Mr. Joseph Zadrozny has arrived to assume his post and serve as the 4th consul general of U.S. Consulate General in Wuhan, according to official announcement on September 18.

This is Mr. Zadrozny’s fourth posting in China. He previously served at the United States Consulates General in both Shanghai and Shenyang and the United States Embassy in Beijing. Consul general Zadrozny can speak Mandarin and French. He is accompanied to Wuhan by his wife and two daughters.

Mr. Zadrozny expressed his happiness to come back to China and work in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province. He expected to enhance the exchanges between the United States and central China during his 3-year tenure as consul general. (hubei.gov.cn by Mao Huifang)
