Thai Princess Sirindhorn Visited WHU

Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, princess of Thailand Kingdom, paid her second visit to Wuhan University (WHU) and attended the inauguration of the new site for  the Sirindhorn International Center for Geoinformatics on April 9, 2013,.

HRH Princess Sirindhorn has a longstanding relationship with WHU. She was awarded the title of “honorary professor” of WHU in 2005, according to Wuhan University,

She hoped that the center would continue to make scientific advancements that lead to better information and earlier warnings about severe weather and natural disasters.

Her visit would continue to improve the educational and cultural cooperation between the two sides, reported by the local media.

Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, princess of Thailand Kingdom visited Jianghan pedestrian street, Wuhan Bund and Wuhan Home of Citizen, several representative scenery spots and facilities in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province on April 10.
