Test Run of Wuhan-Yichang High-speed Railway Starts Off

A China high-speed railway (CRH) comprehensive inspection train pulled into Yichang East Train Station on May 16th, marking the start of the trial run of Wuhan-Yichang high-speed railway.

Since the joint adjustment of the railway kicked start on March 31st, a total of 134 trips on inspection trains, 95 trips on freight trains and 494 trips on bullet trains had been completed on the railway, said the railway department of Wuhan. The running distance added up to 66,100 kilometers, which tested and improved the safety, stability and compatibility of the facilities.
